This Privacy Policy explains how OmniLux collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit omnilux.tv, create an OmniLux account, request access, interact with the plugin marketplace, or use paid connected features.

If a specific product flow, order form, or integration notice says something different for a particular service, that more specific notice controls for that service.

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account credentials, support messages, future investor interest, waitlist requests, and any profile details you add to your account.

We also collect service and device information needed to operate OmniLux, including IP address, browser and device metadata, logs, crash details, authentication events, and records about how account, billing, and connected features are used.

When you explicitly submit a beta request, OmniLux records the account associated with the request, the request source and page, the consent version and confirmation time, and the request status. Opening the account review does not submit a request.

The beta request does not collect media titles, filenames, library paths, playback positions, search text, or household-member identity. Any separate research worksheet or participant measurement will receive its own notice before collection begins.

Depending on the feature you use, OmniLux may collect identifiers and contact details, account and authentication data, commercial and billing records, device and internet activity data, support communications, security logs, product preferences, connected-service metadata, and media-library or playback-related records needed to operate requested services.

Sources may include you, your browser or device, your OmniLux account, self-hosted or connected OmniLux services you authorize, payment and authentication providers, support or communications providers, and security or abuse-prevention tools.

OmniLux uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, move visitors between OmniLux web experiences, prevent abuse, and support secure billing and checkout.

Some third-party providers may also place or read their own cookies or local storage entries when you use their services from OmniLux, such as Stripe for billing, WorkOS or OAuth providers for sign-in, and Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention.

The marketing site keeps optional analytics and diagnostics off unless you allow them through the Cookie Policy preferences.

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide requested services, process subscriptions and billing, respond to inquiries, improve reliability and performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and communicate important service or policy updates.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, learn which features people need, and plan future product development.

Some OmniLux features may process media-library metadata, playback state, viewing history, watch progress, provider grants, household access, or records showing that a person requested or obtained specific video or audio-visual materials.

OmniLux treats these records as sensitive product data. We do not disclose personally identifying viewing or media-request records except as needed to provide the service, at your direction or with legally sufficient consent, for provider or rights reporting where applicable, for security and abuse prevention, or when required by valid legal process.

OmniLux may send transactional or relationship messages about your account, security, billing, subscriptions, downloads, product access, policy changes, or support requests.

If OmniLux sends marketing email, those messages should identify OmniLux accurately, avoid deceptive subject lines, include any legally required sender information, and provide a clear way to opt out of future marketing messages. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary transactional, security, billing, or account-service messages.

We share information with service providers that help us operate OmniLux, including hosting, authentication, payments, analytics or observability tools, communications providers, and content or metadata partners.

We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, enforce our agreements, protect users and the public, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer.

The current marketing site is designed not to sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Optional analytics and diagnostics stay off unless allowed through the Cookie Policy preferences.

If OmniLux later uses advertising, tracking, or data-sharing practices that trigger a right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, OmniLux should add the required opt-out controls, honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals where required, and update this notice before using those practices.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records.

OmniLux uses security and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

OmniLux and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Current service providers may process information in the United States and other regions where they operate. Specific storage and transfer locations can change as providers update their systems and as OmniLux adds supported regions.

OmniLux is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required authorization.
